The GPfD supports its partner, the Sustainability Hub for Policy Initiatives (SHPI), in seeking the public´s generous and benevolent financial support for the SHPI´s project on "Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls" in Mara, Tanzania. The SHPI incessantly undertakes humanitarian and psychological support for the victims of gender-based violence, in collaboration with different local and national community stakeholders and experts. Dissemination of information by holding seminars, symposiums, and other civic awareness campaign strategies are imperative to prevent or mitigate the rampant incidents of gender-based violence committed against women and girls, particularly in the mining areas of Mara region in Tanzania. |
